Antiques, art and health – an odd combination? Not necessarily. There are events involving each of these coming up in Southport, NC. And you can find places offering all of them in Brunswick County, NC. In Southport, NC there are antiques shops on E. Moore Street: Northrup Antiques Mall has two stories of antiques vendors where you can find Civil War Artifacts, silver items, glassware, antique furniture and toys. Among its treasures, Southport Antiques carries quilts, rugs, porcelain, folk art and linens. On N. Howe Street is Magnolia Gifts & Antiques where you will find a large selection of gifts, decorative accessories and jewelry on the first floor and antiques on the second floor. You can stroll to Waterfront Gifts & Antiques on S. Howe Street where you can browse gifts, jewelry, greeting cards and accessories as well as antiques. This Sunday, February 28, you can take your own antiques to the PEO Annual Antique Appraisal Fair.

Many visitors to Brunswick County, NC arrive during the summer months when they can take part in the variety of activities that are available during that time.
